Lots of windows make the open plan living area bright and airy. With 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and a large game room, the cabin has room for the whole family.

This is a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts as deer and wild turkey frequent the large back yard and hiking on mountain trails is only 3/10 of a mile away. Lake Lure Marina and Beach and Chimney Rock State Park are 2-1/2 miles away, Asheville is 28 miles away, and the Tryon International Equestrian Center is 21 miles away.

Cabin Layout

Main level: Open plan living area, kitchen, dining area. One bedroom with queen bed. Adjoining full bath has large shower. Laundry area. Covered deck with mountain views.

Upstairs: Master bedroom with king bed, full bath with shower and 2 sinks. Loft with sitting area with French doors leading to covered deck.

Downstairs: Game room, kitchenette, third bedroom with queen bed and full bath with tub/shower combination. French door leads to back yard.

Chimney Lure Retreat Details

2,000 ± sq ft 3-story log cabin with mountain views.

3 bedrooms – Queen on main floor and king on upper floor.  Third bedroom on bottom floor with queen bed.  Day bed with pull-out trundle (like two twins) in game room.

3 full bathrooms - two with large showers with seats and one with tub/shower combination. Hair dryers.

Maximum occupancy:  8

Walk to hiking trails.

Bed linens and towels provided.

Kitchen fully stocked with cooking and dining utensils, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, fridge with ice maker, electric stove and oven, microwave, and basic spices.

Starter supply of paper and soap products provided sufficient for 2-night stay.

Open plan living area has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, 50” TV with streaming device, DVD player and gas fireplace.

Dining table seats 6, 2 bar stools at kitchen island.

Game room has TV with streaming device, DVD player, Karaoke machine, videos, foosball table, children's ping pong table, corn hole game, board games, day bed, and kitchenette with sink.

2 TVs with streaming device.  One TV for videos only.

Laundry area with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

Spacious backyard with large fire pit and comfy seating. Three covered decks.  Main floor deck has outdoor dining furniture, rocking chairs and gas grill. (Propane provided.)   Upper deck has a swing and bistro table and 2 chairs. Lower deck has access to back yard.
